The Mathieu-Martin Matadors captured their 3rd Moncton Classic Division I title in the last 4 years as they finished the tournament with three consecutive overtime wins. In the final, the Matadors edged the C.P. Allen Cheetahs 2-1 in overtime with Alex Gallant’s 2nd game winning goal in consecutive games. Mathieu-Martin’s Maxime Prillo also scored while Patrick MacGillivray replied for the C.P. Allen. Goaltenders were Annick Boudreau for the Matadors and Pierre-Olivier Couture for the Cheetahs.
The Central Kings Gators defeated the Hants East Tigers 4-1 to win the Division II banner. Cameron Crooks, Will Churchill, Braden Cotton, and Isaiah Eisses supplied the offense for the Gators as only Connor MacIntyre was was able to find the net for the Tigers. Winning goaltender was Josh Langille while Logan Miles took the loss.
